Maya Primorac, Ph.D.

PRESIDENT

Maya is the President and Principal Consultant at GlenView Group, Inc. United States Navy veteran, Maya’s firsthand experience with quality management systems was on a flight deck of USS ENTERPRISE and USS THEODORE ROOSEVELT. Combining her passion for quality, sustainable development and background of working with small and medium size businesses drives her passion for helping companies implement an effective management system that goes beyond the certification. Understanding the importance of balancing the bottom line with business best practices and standard implementation is an essential quality that makes for a successful business consultant and Maya is just that: a successful pragmatist. Maya’s dissertation titled International Political Economy of E-Scrap Trade and the Basel Convention put her in the center of the e-scrap and policy debate. Moreover, Maya has been involved in California e-scrap industry since 2005 and has helped recyclers implement best business standards as well as helped original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) implement take back programs worldwide. Maya specializes in ISO 9001, AS 9100, Responsible Recycling (R2), Recycling Industry Operating Standard (RIOS), ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, and ISO 17025. Maja has extensive experience in the metal scrap, electronic reuse and recycling industry and understands the complex regulatory requirements for recyclers, manufacturers, and others involved in the supply chain on a state by state, national, and international level. Maja’s rigorous and detailed audit style not only brings to light findings that other auditors have not discovered, but also helps the audit client bring about system improvement through value added findings. Asal Nadjarzadeh

Asal Nadjarzadeh, J.D., M.B.A.

Certification Consultant, Management Systems Auditor

Mrs. Nadjarzadeh employs a meticulous, comprehensive, and adaptable approach to every aspect of conformity and compliance to numerous International Standards including, but not limited to, ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems, ISO 14001:2014 Environmental Management Systems, ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems, Recycling Industry Operating Standards (RIOS) 2016, as well as Responsible Recycling (R2) standards. Additionally, Mrs. Nadjarzadeh’s in-depth knowledge of regulatory and administrative requirements related to business is essential in consulting clients with regard to best practices in legal compliance. Prior to her extensive experience as a Certification Consultant and Management Systems Auditor, Mrs. Nadjarzadeh practiced transactional law specializing in contracts, corporate formation, trusts, and estates as well as complex civil litigation with an emphasis on breach of contract, malpractice, and employment.

Mrs. Nadjarzadeh was awarded her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Los Angeles with a major in English, emphasis in Creative Writing, and a minor in Philosophy. Mrs. Nadjarzadeh was awarded her Juris Doctor from Chapman University, School of Law and her Master’s in Business Administration from Argyros School of Business and Economics at Chapman University. During law school, Ms. Nadjarzadeh sat on the Mock Trial Board, served as Senior Articles Editor of the Chapman Journal of Criminal Justice, and volunteered at the Public Legal Clinic, Armory Homeless Shelter. Ms. Nadjarzadeh also served as legal intern in the Major Fraud Unit of the Orange County Office of the District Attorney.
